RDU studios has created an entire new process to enjoy fake nails. Our nails are hand made from start to finish, in a way that has never been done before. Traditional fake nail processes had to be completely reinvented. Not press on, not salon, something different… something better

No RDU studios is not a salon. We only offer high quality art nails in a one on one personal client environment. We do not offer manicures.

Absolutely, after the three weeks of wear if the nails are still intact we can refurbish and reapply said nails.

In testing we were unable to break the nails during regular wear as RDU nails are triple sealed and made of high strength resin. With that said longer the nail the more prone to breakage it will be.

Our nails are recommended for 3 weeks of continuous wear. Traditional nail adhesion was not possible with the art nails we provide, so new techniques had to be invented. Using a combination of glues and nails prepping we are able to bond the nails in a water tight finish.

Week one: They are bonded to the nails. In the same manner as traditional fake nails they will require mechanical removal.

Week Two: Our proprietary gluing technique starts to lose it permanent hold and can be removed with medium force.

‍Week 3: The adhesive has weakened enough for the nails to be removed with minimal force

In our testing the nails are capable of withstanding a longer wear time, but we highly recommend removing the nails after 3 weeks for nail health, as they will lose the water tight seal, and its important for natural nails to be exposed to air and light.

No they will not fall off with everyday wear and tear for the first two weeks. On week 3 the nails may pop given enough force is applied.

In our testing we were unable to break the nail with regular wear and tear. Should you break a nail RDU studios can easily replace and broken nail. (excluding take home press on)

We triple seal each nail to give them high durability. Being rough on the nails can still lead to chipping especially on the tips. First week of regular wear, paint chips are repaired free of charge.

For the first week the nails we be very difficult to remove and is not recommended. Once between 10 days of wear and 20 days of wear the nails will lift free with moderate force applied to the back of the nail and peeled upward. The longer the nails are worn the easier they will remove.

No wearing RDU studio nails for the recommended time frame will not damage your natural nail. Attempted early removal or aggressive removal can lead to damage.

We carefully design our nails for smooth edges to reduce any catching. With that said our nails do need to be worn more carefully than traditional nails. If ordering a custom set we will point out any areas that may become catching hazards.
